Dr. McCrary attended the University of Alabama Huntsville and is a graduate of Boyce Bible College and Emory University Candler School of Theology. Pastor McCrary’s training has included ITC Morehouse School of Religion, New Orleans Theological Seminary, Huntsville Baptist Institute, David Lipscomb University, and Washington Bible College. Now Dr. McCrary is pursuing a Master of Divinity in Leadership. He is currently attending Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. McCrary has been awarded an honorary degree from Regis University in Ministry. He serves as the first African American Associate Director of Chaplains Services for the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office. President and CEO of The Ron McCrary Foundation.
Dr. McCrary served as a missionary in Germany, Greece, and Poland. He has served as a Chaplain for the Georgia House of Representives.
Dr. McCrary was voted church planter of the year at the African American National Southern Baptist Convention.
